Dr. Kotze is a general practitioner, she qualified in November 2009. She has previously worked in practices around the East Rand and has worked at Mercury Street Veterinary Hospital for 3 years. She enjoys getting to know her clients and patients, so that she can build a relationship of trust from the first visit to Mercury Street Vet.
She has a special interest in internal medicine by which she practices her diagnostic skills, client communication and soft tissue surgery (which she has a keen and special interest in).
Receptionists
Diane
Receptionist
Diane has worked as a receptionist at Mercury Street Veterinary Hospital for approximately 30 years and worked in animal welfare for 10 years before that.
The most enjoyable part of her job is educating our clients on how best to keep their pets healthy through proper nutrition, preventative care, and vaccinations.
She believes it is wonderful meeting new puppies and kittens for their first check ups and seeing how they grow into healthy adult fur family members.
Lindsay
Receptionist
Having never worked in the veterinary industry before, Lindsay started work at Mercury Street Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist a few weeks before the initial lockdown in March 2020.
She has always worked with customers and clients but never of the animal variety and she is continually amazed at how interesting, rewarding and sometimes heart-breaking it can be. We all love our pets buts she says that working at Mercury Street Veterinary Hospital has given her an insight into how important the correct veterinary care is to their wellbeing.
